We have a lot of families at the clubs with parents and children training together, both mothers and fathers and sons and daughters. Catering for all levels of experience and age we try to ensure that anyone that trains with us reaps the many benefits of Karate.

  • Improve fitness
  • Balance and flexibility
  • Enhanced coordination
  • Shown to improve confidence and self esteem

Karate is acknowledge as having many benefits such as the ones above, but requires dedication and commitment for these benefits to become apparent. We have members at the club that would testify to this with some members training for over 40 years, some members being in there 60’s and others being as young as 6 and everything in between.

At the club we focus on Karate to improve our fitness and well being . We also practice Karate as a sport and study Karate as a self defense art. We cater our training towards personal goals and encourage reflection in and on ways to improve and develop our Karate. One of the ways we do this is through recognised grading (coloured belts) where members are encouraged to grade when they feel ready.

We are happy to acknowledge achievements gain at your other clubs, for example if you have achieve a brown belt at another club or style you are welcome to wear the same belt with us.
